I mean who wants to spend their time cleaning the bathtub, and hardwoods, when you can be out enjoying this gorgeous weather? "When I came home, the place smelled and looked great. From first glance, everything was way cleaner than I left it.
I'll start with the bad: The kitchen floor, though was really clean, was also extremely sticky all over - I had to wipe it down myself to make sure it didn't attract permanent dirt. The fridge and and oven had not been moved and the area under and around both of them was still visibly dirty and untouched. Also, the toilet seat had been completely untouched, though the bathroom overall was pretty clean. My scheduled time was from 11am to 1pm. At 1pm I started to call the provided phone numbers but no one would pick up. The maids arrived at 2pm sharp, a whole hour late. Maybe since they were behind schedule, they skipped a few steps.
The good:The top of my oven/range was immaculate. I don't know how they got all the grease out. The shower was also sparkling and I couldn't get it clean myself, ever. The bed was made and all the dust was gone. They pretty much did almost exactly all they claimed they would.
I may use this company again but I would need reassurance that they'd arrive closer to on-time and would take care of the few things they missed last time."

"Ive been using HCT for 4 months now, and have only had three issues...
The first time they were out they left some lint from their cleaning cloths on our black stovetop. Not a big deal, took 10 seconds to wipe up. Hasn't been an issue since.
The last time they were out, and unbeknownst to us, they used our own Dyson to vacuum the carpet (which is fine, it does a fantastic job). However, they didn't bother to empty the lint cup which left us an interesting surprise when we got it out to do our in-between vacuuming. Not a big deal, but would have preferred they had emptied the lint cup.
Normally, they take the trash with them, which is fine... but on one visit, they didn't. Instead, they put it in the can in the garage, which we never use. So the garbage sat in there a few days and really started to rot. Took a bit of searching to figure out where that smell was coming from. A bit inconsistent on this issue, but not a huge deal.
Otherwise, they do a fantastic job, and have had no other issues."

"I hired Hughes Cleaning to clean my apartment just after moving into my new apartment because it was one of the dirtiest places I have ever moved into. The previous tenant obviously has a cat and the amount of hair on various surfaces and in the radiators was disgusting and immense. Additionally, there was a healthy layer of dust and lint like material on every surface as well. Not to mention the grime that covered the entire kitchen and all baseboards. Well, I just didn't have the cleaning supplies, time, nor motivation to do the cleaning myself.
Anyhow, and this is the only reason that I didn't give five stars, they arrived about 30 minutes late, which wasn't an issue since I was staying home for the day to await furniture deliveries. I really could not have expected them to do more than they did. They spent nearly 2.5 hours cleaning three rooms that included the removal of all cat hair, dust/lint, and sterilization of the entire kitchen. They were very thorough and polite.
I would certainly hire them again should the need ever arise."

"Our scheduled start time was 11-1 and I was already anticipating someone showing up at 1:15 and throwing off the rest of my day, but John rang the doorbell right at 11. The first thing he did was go straight for the kitchen and clean out the microwave, which every other cleaning service I've used had forgotten about. He's very focused and diligent and cleaned everything thoroughly and in a timely manner. I'd definitely recommend them."
