| I hired Hughes Cleaning to clean my apartment just after moving into my new apartment because it was one of the dirtiest places I have ever moved into. The previous tenant obviously has a cat and the amount of hair on various surfaces and in the radiators was disgusting and immense. Additionally, there was a healthy layer of dust and lint like material on every surface as well. Not to mention the grime that covered the entire kitchen and all baseboards. Well, I just didn't have the cleaning supplies, time, nor motivation to do the cleaning myself. Anyhow, and this is the only reason that I didn't give five stars, they arrived about 30 minutes late, which wasn't an issue since I was staying home for the day to await furniture deliveries. I really could not have expected them to do more than they did. They spent nearly 2.5 hours cleaning three rooms that included the removal of all cat hair, dust/lint, and sterilization of the entire kitchen. They were very thorough and polite. I would certainly hire them again should the need ever arise. | ||

| It's a shame to have to give Hughes Cleaning Service 1 star, as they did a wonderful job cleaning my home. However, in the process, they also ripped the ceiling fan in our master bedroom from its mount, and left it turned on for us to discover when we returned home. Bit of a safety hazard, to say the least. We're understanding people, and had Mr. Hughes been honest about this after it happened, and would have taken care to either fix it or have someone else come in to fix it, it would have been more than fine. However, he continues to deny that he or his employee caused the damage. But since the fan was obviously dusted, and there was not one person in the house after him until we returned from work, it seems pretty obvious. Own up to your error Mr. Hughes. People make mistakes, but people with integrity actually acknowledge them and do something to make things right. Oh, and for the record, we're not looking for our money back, because he did complete the work promised. So this is not an attempt to get something for free.... | ||

This is the cleaning service to use. It is worth the money and they do a great job.

| First thing I would like to state is that I give my highest recommendation to use Hughes Cleaning service. The cleaning that was completed as well as the customer service that was provided exceeding my expectations. This is the service that you want to use if you use a cleaning service. I am definitely going to be a repeat client and am planning on recommending this service to my friends and family. | ||

| We were really impressed with Hughes in the beginning. One day they failed to show up for their appointment with no explanation. We called and heard nothing. Bidmycleaning.com advised that their calls to Hughes were not being returned either - for days on end - and told us that they would switch us to a new provider. It is odd, then, that the site would give them 5 stars. | ||
