Our company is about helping others enjoy what truly matters...family. There are parks to see, local bands playing around Austin, or just a quiet dinner with our family. Having a clean home brings out the best in all of us.
The Picky Maid started a few years ago by a wonderful person, my mother. She knew exactly what people were needing but could not find in any cleaning service. Too much money for very little work, committing to a contract, lack of customer service or hardly any attention to detail. A cleaning service should be for everyone, whether we are a stay at home mom/dad or a 9-5. Her objective was to offer affordable cleaning with very high expectations. We have a wonderful team that works throughout Austin and the surrounding cities. You have trusted us in your home and we thank you for that.

| The first time we used this company was GREAT. In fact, we want Fatima back! Second time (in our new house) the crew of two did a very good job. Two days ago we were sent three ladies and the results were hit or miss. Found some really obvious things that were overlooked, and they were here less than 2 hours (our house is 4000 square feet, so that's pretty fast). Also, had a communication problem - very little English comprehension. We will try this service once more perhaps before requesting a change, but were not favorably impressed. | ||

| I would like to try a new house keeper for my next cleaning. The gal does a good job but lacks attention to detail. I also cannot communicate with her about the laundry etc. I also prefer a compant that uses a new mop head and vaccum bag each time. I have two small children and do not want germs from other peoples houses. | ||

| She did a pretty good job but I wouldnt use the word picky to describe her cleaning. I scheduled a deep cleaning but there were many little things that would have been done in a regular cleaning that weren't. For example there were many things that weren't dusted, the floor length mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned and the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator still had little bits of food in it. The house was clean but wasn't what I expected for a "deep cleaning." Would I them again? Maybe but I will probably try my luck with someone else first to see if this is the standard level of cleaning for the price I paid. Maybe I'm expecting to much. I should note that I had a coupon for 10% off. Maybe thats the problem. | ||
